Ingredients: Raw Organic Cacao
Pure Intentions: This Organic Cacao is sourced from the Pacific Coastal Region in Guatemala. It arrives to Sacred Flows as a whole bean and is freshly ground for each order. A small prayer of gratitude and blessings is said, along with a ceremonial, protective smoke of Mapacho blown on each package.
If you’ve ordered the “Full Moon Charged” Lavender Cacao, a small batch is ground down, and charged under full moon energy. It also has organic lavender added to it that has also been freshly ground down with the Cacao. Lavender brings about purity, and serenity. Stilling the heart, and calming the spirit. This allows you to be able to receive the blessings of the cacao more freely and openly.
How To Prepare:
For a light lift, 1tbsp of cacao prepared with 16oz of either hot water or plant based milk is optimal. You can also prepare with half water and half milk. Oat milk and coconut milk are most ideal for cacao preparation.
For a ceremonial dose, 2 tbsp of cacao for every 16oz of water or milk is optimal.
Prepare a pot of water or plant based milk, and add your preferred amount of cacao into the pot. Stir frequently as the liquid begins to heat up, and the cacao begins to melt. Remove from stove when the cacao has mostly melted. There will be a few particles that do not dissolve. You can use a strainer to remove these particles if you don’t want them, or keep them in your cacao as they add a chocolaty essence.
You can add sweetener such as coconut sugar, maple sugar or agave to your preference. Some enjoy adding spices like cinnamon, cardamon or cayenne pepper.
